COMPACT COMFORT
CraftLine Co. commenced on the "Compact Comfort" project, revitalizing a small, old house for a young family within a total square footage just over 700, excluding the finished attic, which CraftLine Co. converted into two kids' bedrooms, expanding the home's livable space without costly additions. Tasked with a tight budget, CraftLine Co. faced the challenge of maximizing space and functionality, particularly in the kitchen, which previously housed a washer and dryer. Through ingenious design solutions and strategic layout adjustments, CraftLine Co. transformed the cramped kitchen into a cook's haven, exuding charm and efficiency. Despite budget constraints, every decision, from updating finishes to optimizing storage, was made with the family's comfort and convenience in mind, resulting in a cozy and functional home that seamlessly blends modern amenities with historic charm, providing the young family with a space they can truly call their own.
